I've had a problem getting mine to work correctly. Replaced the compressor and have a dryer and condenser on the way. While waiting, I disconnected all the lines, flished them all out. Replaced the expansion valve and reset the POA valve. I found this on a 'vette forum.
"If you convert from R-12 to R135A, you need to turn the POA adjusting "screw" 1/4 turn counter clockwise. R-12 likes 29.5 psi R-134A likes 26.5 psi. The adjustment should show 10 degrees + or - lower temps at teh vents provided the rest of the system is in good working order."
That adjustment in the POA is on theend of the POA valve toward the firewall. If you take it out, look in there, you will see something that looks similar to a zerk fitting. That's where the adjustment is.
I'll let everyone know how this works after I get it back together.
