Help with Holley 750 DP

Recently my engine started running like crap, stalling, rough idle and hard starting. Then discovered fuel dripping out of secondaries with engine running and continues to drip with engine off until fuel pressure reached 0. Carb was supposedly rebuilt 2 years ago. Going to pull carb off now and open it up, any advice what to look for would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob

From what you have described my initial thought is a stuck needle and seat on the secondary. The second thing I would suspect is float level adjustment.

I had a stuck needle and seat do the same on my 650 dp. I took the carb off and drained the fuel and shook the snot out of it . I put it back on and whatever was in the needle and seat was gone. On the float level you want it to bearly trickle out in the front and back. I usually leave the back a little higher for fuel slosh in the bowl. Wives tail probably on that last tid bit but it aint hurtin nuthin either. I usually set my float level on a bench. If I remember right you flip it over and it should be 3/8 ths gap from the bottom of the float to the bottom floor of the duel bowl.

Thanks for replies. Took bowl off and pulled needle out, didn't see anything wrong. Cleaned and put back together, not dripping anymore and running great. Thanks
