hi, not having any luck installing my driver side door window it is electric ,did not know if i had to take the vent window out to get it in , its been so long since i removed it ,like 6 years, any tricks on this ,i would really appreciate the help , the car is a 65 starfire ,a walk through on the steps would really help , thanks very much for the help , will.

thats how it works on my 1961 F85 without any electric.

1 - install the "Side window mechanic"
2 - put the Side window into the door. put it gently down to the bottom
3 - install the vent window
4 - put the side window into the checkrails
5 - screw the vent window
6 - connect side window to the mechanic
5 - screw the window arrestor (if you have one)

Maybe you can use that,too.
