Question 1973 Oldsmobile Omega Stero???

I was curious if any of you other omega owners out there know of a good radio to install into the ride? I have seen some of the retro sound models as they do look stock and dont want to cut the dash but hate the chevy symbol/logo on it. Do any of you happen to have any suggestions or opinions?

Find a good Am-Fm cd player like Jvc Pioneer and cut the dash & enjoy your ride.

Thanks for your reply but I do not want to cut my dash. I want to keep the interior areas original as I can

Ok, Well you could find an Am-Fm stereo out of a Nova/Camaro/Monte Carlo and be happy

These guys make a nice unit listed for 71-76 Nova, but they're pricy.

I was looking at these guys last week. They import radios and add their own faceplates. I don't see Omega listed but did see Nova and Camaro. They could probably put on an Olds logo if they have something that fits your dash. That looks like all they change from Chevelle to Cutlass.

Those dashes are pretty easy to find....not cheap but easy, buy another cut it and enjoy.....if you want to put it back to original....reinstall yours.

I don't think a pristine all original Omega is worth much to anyone other than the owners...lol (no offense) I got one too, and I cut the dash to install my radio.

Hears a nice woodgrain one

I agree ... it's your ride, ENJOY IT !!

My dash was already cut and had a few holes drilled for switches, when I bought my car. It was a radio delete dash too : (

I found an old Sentrek AM/FM/Cass Radio at the wreckers years ago ... and installed it. Added a MP3 CD Changer which runs through the Antenna : ) WORKS GREAT!!

Now with MP3 Transmitters which plug into the cig. liter, just grab one of those ... a USB stick and you're on your way.

Whatever route you choose, good luck with it !!

My 74 Omega has a alpine cd player in it. I took it out, but the fit was perfect, with no cutting.
