Pics Needed - Olds 215 stock bracket setups

Hello,

I am wondering if the stock Olds 215 (or Buick 215) engines could be ordered stock with a/c and power steering. I want to have both options but am having trouble finding a stock accessory bracket setup. Do they exist? If not I can make a custom bracket setup but that will take a lot more time and I want to get the car running. Pics would be great.

I was planning on modifying a 231 Buick V6 setup to mount to the 215 but the passenger side head has no threaded mounting provisions on the front face.

Thanks.

Yes, they could. My 62 parts car has PS with the brackets. A/C was also available, but is a pretty rare option on these cars. The Chassis Service Manual has diagrams of the brackets.

A/C bracket

I have an A/C bracket i'll try to take pics of and post them, i got a 63 Cutlass parts car last year that had A/c but non power steering, the AC compressor mounts right where the power steering pump is on my car which has power steeting but no AC, i'll take pics of the AC bracket for you when I unpack it, i hope to be posting the complete setup on ebay in a few weeks if anyone is interested, but i think your best bet for AC and Power steering would be to mount the power steering pump on the passenger side and relocate the battery, b/c from the layout on the parts car the compressor and ps pump couldn't easily both fit on the drivers side.

Pics would be great when you get a chance. I have a few misc. brackets and pulleys but have no idea what they are for. Without seeing a complete setup, or even an assembled setup it is hard to try to figure out how they go together or even where they go. From what you and others have said I'm thinking it might be more advantageous for me to go to manual steering, so that would eliminate that problem.

Thanks.

Probably easier to go that way, the bracket I have for the compressor is actually one piece that mounts to the front of the block with an idler pully and a few supports that go to 2 intake manifold bolts and one exaust manifold stud
