steering gear on 1963 f85

Lookig at rebuilding my leaky steering gear, but trying to find a rebuilt one as an option. But there doesn't seem to be any out there. Is the 63 gear box unique and unavailable? As I understand it, they were Saginaw 800's, so there should be an interchange. Maybe I'm wrong and they were some other brand or model. Does anyone have any info on this? Always try to do my homework before getting into a project, the old measure twice, cut once thing.

The steering box is unique to the 1961-63 F-85 and Buick Skylark only . Nothing else interchanges. Given the extremely limited market for these cars, I doubt anyone stocks rebuilt boxes on the shelf.

If it's manual box, drain it and fill with grease, if it is a power steering car, watch e-bay. One NOS box and pump just sold in March '18, so there out there.

It's a power box. I'll probably rebuild it this winter. I've been watching ebay for about 6 months, and they are really scarce. I saw the old listing for the steering gear and pump, both NOS. I just saw it too late. Anyway, I'm going to clear out enough space in my shop to get the car in. Thanks all for the input.
