I just got a 66 Starfire and can not find Bumpers, chrome, and trim pieces listed. I believe that something should be the same such as a Cutlass or 88 for most of the Items. Any suggestions?

 

Certainly not a Cutlass. That front bumper will be as different as night and day from the front bumper of a full-size Olds.

But any full-size '66 Oldsmobile (Starfire, Delta 88, Dynamic 88, Jetstar 88, and 98) can be a donor for the front bumper. The rear bumper can come from any of these cars except the 98 as that was usually different from the other full-size cars each year.

Yes, they are a challenge to restore , but not impossible.
I recommend a daily search of E-Bay , with a search title of "1966 Oldsmobile"
Fusick Automotive is your best source of repro parts for these , but get some Impala and Pontiac catalogs as some parts (especially Body) will cross over.
There are also several members here that are parting 65-70 88's & 98's. Check "parts for sale" section.

your location is always helpful if you need big parts(bumpers) i believe i have front bumper ends,a grille (dynamic 88 prob diff) hood spear,these would be good used but not mint. there is a 66 starfire parts car in vermont on c/l for sale, complete except steering column. jc

Driver quality but if the cores are good and can be re-chromed would consider those as well. Appreciate the reply
