Heater Hoses
Hi,
I am replacing all the heater hoses on my 63 F 85.
There is one that comes out of the back of the intake manifold toward the passenger side, and is supposed to make a 180 degree turn, and go into the heater core.
Does any one have a idea where to get this hose, a part number, or an alternitive?
Thanks,
John

If it will come off in one piece, simplest thing will be to take it to a parts store and match up a modern moulded hose. If you have to trim it or cut some of the new hose off to get what you need, no biggie.
I'll see if I can find an original part # for you but I look at it this way- any new old stock hose you find is likely to be 30-plus years old and subject to fail at any time simply from age. I'd rather take my chances with new production stuff if it's possible to match it up.
It's like the folks at Ames Performance Engineering say about some of their Pontiac pieces: "Fit and function are acceptable"

Heater Hose
The one I pulled off the car was not hooked up to the correct spot on the firewall. I would like to reconnect properly.
I dont have to have an original part, just one that will work.
