Hi, I am restoring my 62 Starfire and wonder how to tell if the engine is original to the car. My son thought the engine numbers should match some of the vin numbers. My car is somewhat of a oddball..ex. paint code is "J" not listed in 62, it is in 63 color (met. mint green).Car build date is week 5 in September.
