'63 F85 interior question

Has anyone recovered their seats using one of those pre-sewn kits? I know a few companies carry them online, is there a better or best quality and if anyone can share their experiences with them that would be great. Just wondering if I should go that route or pay an upholsterer to recover them instead. Photos are always helpful

Thanks
Lionel

They don't make interior kits for these cars. They have to be done by an upholstery shop. I hate to tell you there isn't much support for these cars like the 68 thru 72's.

I know parts are few and far between on these cars, but it looks like the seat covers are available. I figured someone had tried them by now.

OGPI use PUI which are decent. I have PUI on my 1970 Cutlass and have no complaints. Most people prefer Legendary but they are a lot more money. I would call Legenedary direct and see if they carry them and how much. If they don’t carry them my guess would be all three links you provided are PUI retailers with the same product. I would go with the OPGI based off the price they are like half compared to the others you posted.

Ive also been looking but am starting to realize that I may have a rarity in that I have a bench seat in the front on my 63 F85.

Does anyone know if this was an option or special order?---I have yet to see another.

Regards
