'62 Jetfire

I have just purchased a '62 jetfire. I need some help and guidance as to where I can find parts for it. Kanter and J.C. Whitney have different parts but are not real specific with the turbos. Also where the best place would be to get the turbo overhauled if ever needed. Thanks for your help. Mark

For the most part, the engine's are the same. I'm surprised the turbo is still there. Check with your local diesel engine shop, they know where to send the turbo for repair.
Nice find, hope the car is in great shape. I love the body style. I've had a couple of F-85/Cutlass, hard to find anymore.

I am amazed that no one responds to messages on this forum.. I just registered here
Aluminumv8.com is a good source for parts.
There is a site specifically for Jetfires and a guy on there rebuilds turbos.

It's a Garrett AiResearch unit, so getting it serviced shouldn't be a real issue.

The trouble with OP is that there are few Jetfires that still have their turbo intact. Most people (incl some hardcore Olds people) have no idea the car was even made. That's why there was little response.

slow response

I understand that it's a rare bird. Had one for 16 years. That's why I posted a response and I did notice it's from 06. If the guy has his alerts on and hasn't changed his email address, perhaps he'll get some new info.
Even so and I'm slow I guess but I just discovered the http://oldsjetfire.com
