1973 Omega

Here are some pictures of my 1973 Omega. I am going to have to sell it. It will need to be rebuilt. It has a 350 rocket. The interior needs work, seats are not in bad shape. There is not very much rust on the exterior, but the trunk floor is rusted out. I will probably list it locally for a couple of weeks, then if nothing on to Ebay. I want a $1,000. Wanted to mention it here first.

In my opinion, you're not asking enough. In my neck of the woods, you'd get $3000 all day long. I'm in NY, and if I was closer, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I will be posting it on Ebay in a week or so. It would be nice to get more than $1,000 but I mostly want it to go where someone will work on it. I have neither the time, money nor the physical ability to do the job anymore. This was grandmas car that they bought new in 1973. When she died in 1999, the car had 27,000 actual miles, now has roughly 47,000 miles, but my little brother had it for those 20,000 miles and parked it in a pasture for a couple of years. Now it need work. Cool thing is the doors still sound new when they shut.

I have a front bumper rechromed and ready to go but no rubber strip which is probably more rare than the bumper. Also the fiberglass piece that holds the grills ,if thats the header.

If this is still around would you consider parting out. I need the plastic rear lights panel. Its the part that houses the license plate and the tail lights.

No its actually one of the only plastic pieces on the whole car. It crumbled when I removed it to start my resto.

That's interesting. I checked the panel on my 74 and it's all steel.
