I haven't been on this site for a while. I am considering a 1962 Olds Starfire convertible that is up for sale. Just wanted to know if anyone has information on what was standard on the 1962 Olds Starfire, and what the individual options were for it. If the list includes order codes and all, that would be ideal. Such a list would give me an idea of creating a value for it. If anyone can help me with this, would greatly appreciate it.

 

Buckets/console, power steering and brakes, 345hp engine (look for "S" suffix on engine ID number) with chrome dressup kit and low-restriction mufflers, heavy duty HydraMatic, 3:42 gearing. Power top, windows and 2-way driver power seat on convertibles. Most came with Deluxe heater and summer ventilation (pushbutton controls) and a clock. Deluxe spinner full wheelcovers.

Everything else was an extra-cost option.

Thanks for the inputs (so far). I guess I have a bit more interest in the options, the codes for those options, and what the dealer list costs are for them. I guess looking for a dealer order sheet (or the equivalent) for a 1962 Starfire. I have all that for a 1965 Starfire, was hoping something like that existed for the 1962 model.
