looking for an honest shop in NJ
#1
Greetings to all. Just became a newbie here. Quite recently I bought my first Olds, a semi-restored '68 Cutlass S mildly modified [rebuilt 350/400th with a mild cam and shift kit, 10 bolt posi rear w/3:73s, disc brake conversion] .. It is currently my only ride therefore a true daily driver and I love to drive the crap out of it. Well, actually I hve a rodded 36 Studebaker Dictator Coupe but can't drive it legally in NJ yet. Anyway, I am a quadriplegic in a wheelchair as of 13 years ago and thus can't do any work on my ride. I keep paying astronomical [in my opinion] prices for simple jobs but really have no choice.
Thus, I was wondering whether anyone here knows of a dependable and honest shop specializing in Oldsmobile cars/motors around northern NJ or southern New York state [201 or 845 area codes]
area that could be recommended. I plan to have a lot of work gradually done eventually as my limited budget allows [put in a hi-capacity oil pan, Gear Vendors undr/overdrive, A/C, etc. Eventually I'll want to drop a hotter mill, preferably a BB as well, and update chasis for handling] but I want to find someone who'll do a solid job on time and at really fair prices.
I'm not holding my breath but I decided to give it a whirl and ask, someone here might after all know just such place. Thanks.

well, it's 2007 and a lot has changed since my first post here so [got a bb for one] i've edited it somewhat...but i'd still like to find such a shop if anyone knows of one near to my area...
