Just wondering if anyone ever installed a Griffin radiator in a 67 442 before. I had a 2 core before which couldn't keep my 455 below 200 degrees. The lower brackets for the 2 core might not be wide enough. I did get brackets along with the radiator, will play with them first. I just don't want the car to be down for a long time so if anyone has done this before I'd appreciate any help or tips. Thanks.

 

After removing stock brackets and mounting the new brackets, radiator mounted up nicely. Even the stock shroud fit.

 

Not to change the subject but what are you using for a fan.

Glad you got that one to fit okay. I just put an aluminum radiator in my 67 as well, but not a Griffon.

 

I'm using the stock 4 bladed fan. Works great.

Fairly easy. $373 at Summit. The new braided lines cost almost half as much.

 

Great looking engine bay! Love the dual quads too!

 

Where did you get the valve covers?

 

Got the covers through Summit. Pricey but nice and solid.
