So I've been looking at sport mirrors for my 1972 Cutlass Supreme and I was wondering would all sport mirrors from GM around that time frame work on my car?

I was looking at these in the link above. Although it says they would work on my car, I would like to be sure.

 

Yes those would work on ur car. they are 2nd gen camaro firebird mirrors. they are a smudge taller but hard to tell.

 

As noted, the 71-72 A-body mirrors use shorter pedestals than the F-body mirrors. Yes they will fit your car if by "fit" you mean "can I drill holes in the door to bolt them up". Unfortunately, due to the different pedestals, the mirror bodies will be canted inward and look funny to me, anyway. The correct pedestals place the mirror bodies so that the top of the body is parallel to the ground.

 

I have a nice set of these mirrors & they do work OK on our Cutlass doors. IIRC by flipping the gasket it helps fix the angle. As a matter of fact I think they are on the blue car in sig but you can't see them that well.
