Original paint ? Z-Z makes it an H/O ? Mucho BS. Explain why this car has no holes for the H/O emblems or the H/O emblems on either front fender.

I once similarly commented on thread about special order paint in 68 and all the H/O gurus assured me that no other 68 had ever been special ordered with Peruvian Silver paint.....yeah;.... I found it hard to believe also...especially because it was a standard Olds (Toronado) color in 68....

That being said, I've never seen another 68 a-body in that color...

Red fenderwells?

I didn’t think h/o s came with red fenderwells also looks to have the ram oai air cleaner but didn’t see the holes etc in the fenderwells ? It’s a cool car regardless but I’m sure there is a registry of bins right?

appears to be a legit 1968 Hurst/Olds - yes, they had RED inner fenders - a "special paint" a-body in "Peruvian silver" would not have "Z-Z" on the body tag

I know that you say that and it certainly may be true but I've seen no factory evidence that it's a fact (yes I've seen the many articles that say that only H/O's received the Z-Z paint code) .

"- -" paint codes may have been used in 68 (though I've never seen one) but I know of at least one special order Oshawa 68 that had a "Q Q" code on the cowl tag (Pontiac Verdoro Green Metallic), so they definitely used letters.

H/O club or Karl Sarpolis can verify by the VIN….

Looks legit for sure.

Agreed. That car looks so real. There are plenty of signs that shows this car as real. Patina wouldn't look like this. The VIN will prove it more than likely.

PS: There has never been a non Hurst Olds with a Z-Z paint code surface right?
