Aftermarket gauges

I am looking to put in an under dash temp and oil gauges in my 1970 Olds cutlass convertible. Do anyone know if they make a gauge that flips up to hide when it is at the car shows. I had it overheat when I was at the Back to the bricks in Flint Mi car cruise. Thank you for any info.

I haven't seen any gauges like that. I have mine mounted to the bottom of the dash, above the console, and leave them visible.
If you don't have an 8 track player, you could get one of the converted housings that hold gauges and it would look a lot like a factory setup.

You could change them all with something like this from Dakota Digital.

I suspect that what you seek is not available. While I can see crafting a gauge panel having flip up/down capabilities, there would be a problem with the water temp probe and oil pressure lines used on mechanical gauges. Maybe that could be gotten around by use of electrical gauges? I don't know much about them.

Mount whatever mounting they come in on a small piano hinge should be fairly easy to do.

Get 2" gauges and mount them in the ash tray

I'm sorry, but why are any of these suggestions better than just installing a repro Rally Pac?
