Hi all,

The A/C case on the firewall is split into two pieces that are bolted together. Can I remove the evaporator by just removing the engine side of the case, or the blower motor side of the case? or does the whole case need to come off?

Nobody has done this? It looks like I might need to remove the heater core to get those studs out of the way.

 

The 1976 Chassis Service Manual tells you to remove the inner fender panel and then remove the entire evaporator case from the firewall to get to the evaporator.
