1967 442 - aftermarket coolant overflow tank?

For those of you who are running an aftermarket coolant overflow tank on your 1966/1967 442, can you show me how it’s mounted?

In my ‘66 big cars, I used a 74 or 75 Cadillac Eldo overflow tank. In the Caddy’s the tank hangs off the rear vertical member of the upper radiator support.

I just bent the bracket so I could bolt the mount on the top of my upper radiator cross bar on the passenger side.

I don’t have a picture this evening, but it looks almost factory. It might be a little big for the Cutlass/442, but then you could also fabricate a bracket to nudge part of the tank up under the passenger fender.

Google up a few Caddy Eldo engine shots and you should find the overflow tank.

Cheers
Chris
