1966 Vista Cruiser Exhaust in 1968 Cutlass

Hello,

I was wondering if a exhaust from the vista cruiser will fit or would need to be modified to fit into my 68 cutlass? My friend had his exhaust done on it but it's been sitting and he's thinking of parting it out and thought it might be worth using the exhaust on my car as his had duals. Also what's a 3 rd row seat worth? Thanks

John

I don't know for sure the interchange, I'm thinking you might need to modify it a little as the length of your chassis may be longer than the 1966. Is his car rusty? If not he may be able to sell his car as a project. The demand for Vista Cruiser's is higher than that of a 4 door car and to some more desirable than a 2 door Cutlass

it does have rust issues like the c pillar has some rust throw and I'm guessing it spent it's life near the beach cause it has a lot of surface rust but the engine does run we got it running a few weeks back.

A 1966 VC has a 120" wheelbase. A 1968 Cutlass 2dr has a 112" wheelbase, 4drs and wagons have a 116" wheelbase, and VCs have a 121" wheelbase, so even though you didn't specify WHICH model 1968 you have, the answer is no in any case.

Hummm, when I read this I thougth both cars were Vista Cruisers. Glad you posted Joe, so it would take more than a little modification to make it fit.
