My friend has given my husband and I an old car. It is a 1966 delta 88. But the car has not been run/driven in over 12 years. I am almost sure the tires are bad. I want to get it to my house but the car carrier rentals say the car is too heavy for them. So I was thinking we could "pull" it home. So if I can do that I need to know the size of the tire I can put on. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. The car is an automatic/2 door/hardtop. It is supposed to have the last big engine(450 I think). Any ideas how to get it home?

hello thats easy.you first need to state how far you wish to travel with the vehicle.second most tow companies with a long bed will tow because of the weight issues with these large vehicles.and if you go to rent a puller from uhaul dont tell them you towing that car;because they have a weight restiction at 4000 pounds.last but not least;i have the 66 4/dr delta88.so i would love to have the 2dr in my posession.thanks! and good luck.
