1959 Radio ???

I wasn't sure if this should be in Electrical or not?

Does anyone know if the radio from a 1959 Impala and a 1959 Super 88 are interchangeable? I can't imagine GM had unique radios that year for the Impala, Super 88, Bonneville and Lesabre.

I'm finding direct replacement am/fm stereo with Blue Tooth ph. and MP3 only listed for the 1959 Impala. I want to have music but not at the cost of molesting my dash.

Dashes are very different and the radio dial nose pieces don't interchange between any of the four Divisions. You might be able to change the nose piece and make it work but I'm not sure. Can about guarantee if you open the radio to do that it voids the warranty.

Another option would be to keep the stock radio in the dash and get a unit like this:

I've read reviews that were not so good about that system.

This might be a possibility:
