I have been putting this car together as a stepping stone down the path to be able to build my 54' Olds. Its a great driver that turns heads but not a show car. Some of the car is still in original paint and has had a few spot repairs in its life. No signs of any accidents ever but does have minor dents dings and scratches all over. The Galaxie is very solid with the only rust in the car anywhere is one small spot in the rear floor under the back seat, the rear trunk floor brace and will need small patches in the lower 1/4's if you decide to paint if. Most people would not even find the rust under the car and would list it as rust free. Its not but its close.
The engine is a 352 FE motor I was told was rebuilt this year by the previous owner. Motor looks clean and runs good so I have no reason to think this is not true.
The car has lots of new parts. Just a few are:
-new genuine Halibrand wheels and Cooper tires
-new brakes
-rebuilt Ford Toploader 4speed trans
-new top
-new carpet
-new seat belts
-new starter
-new pertonix ignition conversion
Its a super fun car to cruise around in. You can pretty much drive anywhere as is. The next thing I would suggest to do would be a front suspension bushing replacement because they are all pretty worn. I have about 100 pics of ever inch of the car I will post in the next few days as I have time to upload.
I'll take $15,900

Which Cutlass? I have had a few but don't own any right now.
1964 Galaxie 500
Richard: It looks pretty good from above! Yes, it could use some more work, but then, it's not an Olds... So we understand if you don't want to spend too much time on it.
I sent my Ford buddy, 'Tom Howard' a link. He will spread the news.
Let us know how this sale goes!

thanks man
I'm not ashamed to say, next to Olds, Ford is next on my list......I can't believe you still have this car. If it were here on the east coast, probably would be gone already. Seems there is much more "low hanging fruit" in the southwest and west coast! Hope it goes soon for you Richard!
They never made a 352 car with a 4speed. It was a 3 on the tree when born but so much better now. If it was a factory 390 4speed car it would have sold a long time ago and for more money. I've learned alot with this car.
This is a tween' car not super nice but not a pile of crap. I have always done real well with this sort of car in the GM world but seems the Ford guys only want a pile of crap or a nice pedagree car.
Ok, I'm not up on my Ford trivia...lol I know he mostly buys 4spd or BB cars. He has quite a few that I have seen and more in storage. I'll still let him know.

Still getting regular trade offers but no cash. Can't go to that show but it will be at Good Guys in a couple weeks. I could have sold it several times if it was a 390 car. Didn't think it was a big deal but to the Ford guys that have been interested it is.

Just need to find the right guy with cash.
