Um, no! I think once around the block and you would need gas! It only has a 7 gal tank!

incorrect! it's a 10 gallon tank. and you wouldn't have to use much pedal at all, so you should get excellent mileage. i think you'd flip if you stomped the pedal, the weight ratio is 40f/60r.

Naaaaah. With the right gears, you could go down the highway at 80 at idle.

And as for weight, just put a 300 pound good-old-boy in each seat, and you're good to go!

OK so total is 10.2 gallons, but I have never run it that low to find out! Most of the time its 7 gallons! And the biggest engine I have seen in the back of a fiero is a sbc, and that was scraping the firewall and trunk! I couldnt even imagine a bbo in the back of that thing! Would be fun though!

I think the best conversion, engine wise, is to drop in a 3800 series II L67 supercharged. It fits in like a glove, and looks stock back there.

The pick up? Anyways just go get a whole new distributor as I'm sure it's not much more.

Not the biggest, but the best engine I've seen stuffed behind the seats was a Northstar. Damned if it didn't look factory. Weight was good and handling was supposedly not unpleasant. I think I'd be tempted to go with a turbo ecotec ... that would be more than enough to made that car wild

IIRC it is called a hall effect switch. Sometimes referred to as a pole piece or a pick-up.
