FYI we already beat you 1-0 this morning. Get that beer on ice for us. And none of that watered down American beer either!

And you can keep that waste of skin Bieber. I prefer music to his noise.

He(double hockey sticks)

If was 19 and had millions maybe even billions, I'd probably do what the he** I want too.

If he came from any kind of background, he'll straighten out. (Otherwise we'll shoot him)

BTW That was the best talent I think I've ever seen on ice. Canada put on a school and so did Jonathan Quick. What a tight game.

X2. That was a really close game, but IMO Canada had more opportunities to score and just came up short on them. That could easily have been a 3 or 4-0 win for Canada. Hey, all you need is 1 more point than the other team to win though, so I'll take it. Bring it Sweden!!! Oh yeah, bring it Eric - you know where I live... And Molson Canadian is fine, thx.

Make sure you tell those peeps petitioning the white house that you officially are taking that waste of oxygen idiot off our hands. Maybe you can deport him to another country that needs a moving target for their military???

You might be misled into thinking the British were the best winter Olympians the world had ever seen if you saw our coverage of the curling or snowboarding.
We are 24th in the medal table as I write this, still our best ever achievement at winter Olympics.
But our Lizzie Yarnold deserves praise for her track record breaking skeleton bob gold medal .

So did any of you get up and watch the Finland/USA Bronze medal game??? Finland OWNED the USA team from the second period on. Some really dumb penalties but Finland just was tenacious and kept putting the puck in the net. 5-0 blowout!!

Canada vs. Sweden at 05:00 local time tomorrow morning. Yes, even though I'm not the worlds biggest hockey fan I'll be up watching that one too. Sweden is favored with the 'best goalie', but Canada is favored with the best attack line (Sid the kid) and some killer defense. Can't see Carey Price not playing net in this big match up. Beer will be flowing at all the local taphouses starting at 05:00!!! GO TEAM CANADA!!!

Roger - I did watch every one of the televised matchups with Brad/Jennifer. They were spectacular. Don't bash David Murdoch too badly - after all he really is Scotland. I was surprised at the uncharacteristic mistakes he made. Both he and his lead Andrews were way off the mark on their performance. Greg Drummond was the sole solid player for GBR. Bet ya Tom Brewster is still pissed over the decision to make Murdoch the skip instead of him. Personally I don't think it would have made much difference.

Who cares about Bieber? The only thing he knows how to throw is hissie fits.

There's ALWAYS a next time Eric. If ya get that Molson Canadian in the mail today it should stay cold all the way up here. Weather forecast is for frigid weather the next 10 days.

I'll give ya a chance to win it back ok? If Canada loses to Sweden tomorrow you're off the hook. BTW I don't think you can send booze over the border, so cash will work and I'll just buy it locally. Then I'll send ya an email about how good it was...

The US Team left it all on the ice against Canada. The Can and US teams have a hard time playing bronze metal games as it means little to all star NHL players.
I know for the Can team its gold or nothing as the silver will mean little. They are expected to win just like the NBA players are when they play in the summer games.

Beiber isn't part of the bet - it's just the beer - double or nuthin?? I am NOT a Beiber fan and I sure hope you aren't too. USA can keep him. No way in heck I was implying stupidity on anyones part. Eric and I are friends so that would be just rude to reach out and slap him that way....

Agreed. One of the comments on the Bronze medal game this morning by a Canadian commentator: "Finland will play for any color medal"

So true. You can see that in the faces of every player that loses the Gold. To them the silver is less symbolic than playing for bronze and winning. I've got faith that Sid the kid and Team Canada will be demonstrating Canadian history to the Swedes. It's going to be a heck of a good game IMO. GO TEAM CANADA!!!, eh?
