just something i see,in your pic of the block stamp it shows what you say is TO524ET could the 5 actually be a 6.The cowl tag shows an 07B (july 2nd week)the 524 would be may 24th this would be a month and a half before build date,6 would make more sense as BF is fremont california plant,engine would have to be shipped from tonawanda n.y. to fremont.

I think 6 also. Weird stamp. If everything else matches wouldn't get hung up on it esp if the car's history is known. Little vanilla for my taste in white but appears to be an honest car and in Chevy-world that's what counts.

Now if that were a Chevy musclecar in this neck of the woods everything on it would be suspect. Lot of Chevy-heads here are, shall we say, oily. OK let's be honest. Unscrupulous is a better word! 😺

well i also notice the rearend shows a 625 build date so with that info looks to me like matching numbers drivetrain,those are getting harder to find,i would ike to see some int pics.

It's a typo, the engine build date is very clear @ 6-24. There are no issues with the dates or the stamps.

i have a 66ss numbers matching,thats why i mentioned it was probably a 6 and not a 5 the 6 made more sense.looks pretty solid good luck with sale.bench seat or buckets/console?gauges?
