Still new to this olds.

Hey! Finally got my car "1966 f85 four door"in my name an all, still working on this carb an the tweaks it takes to run properly with the 350 chevy in it but I'm in the search of aftermarket gauges, not to butcher or alter. Just to give me the guages I need instead of just speedo an the usual indicator for oil, gen, temp. Car currently has the 3/4 gauges on the bottom dash to tell me my readings but not a fan on glancing down. Any help is appreciated, I've searched here an elsewhere on what the size is on my 1966 f85 deluxe four door hard top, but I'm in disbelief on them being 3 3/8ths my micrometer is dead an my son keeps walking away with my tape measure ha any help is appreciated, just trying to keep it up an organize it so it's not a cluster. Thank you.

If you're talking about swapping out to aftermarket gauges, you'd still be looking at changes to your wiring behind the dash to make them work and likely having to change (or add) the sensors that operate them. When adding engine sensors, thread sizes may be different between Olds and Chevy motors, so you'd have to account for that as well.

Depending on how exotic you want to get, here's an example I found just by a basic Google search for '66 cutlass gauges' - some physical dash mods required for mounting fitment (as any aftermarket gauges would likely require), in addition to wiring, etc.

Yeah I'm trying to steer away from Dakota dash because of the secondary parts you have to by besides the cluster. Looking to more so the autometer. But Dakota doesn't give me sizes either. Im not 100% if they swapped sensors to gm yet. But when I had first got this car had a 383 stroker gm in it all the gauges work. I just added a rpm so I don't destroy the motor doing 6k over with the cam I have in it

You will need the sensors and wiring changes that are compatible with any gauges you install.
