My dad is looking at a 1972 Pontiac GT. Its the stripped down lemans/GTO that didnt have all the bells and whistles. It had a 3 speed manual on the floor. I was just curious about this transmission. I did a quick search and didnt find a lot out there about them. Anyone know what the gears are? Are they decent transmissions?

they are all right transmissions i guess... the shop we work with has two of them, and got them both for free... they are not worth anything, but are bulletproof. most of them were in trucks. i have a date correct M20 if your interested, or im sure i could get a hold of one from the shop, but i would seriously drop an M20, M21, or M22 in it, it should all most bolt rite in.
