Budget estimate to convert to LS power

Before entering into a LS swap, what is the ballpark cost to complete it?
I realize there is a lot of factors so any info would be helpful.
I would be interested in retaining the fuel injection.

I have seen some members say 3-5K including the cost of the engine and periphrals...look up some of garys68 posts along w aceshigh they are some of the more prolific LS swap posters
