Hello! I picked up a beautiful 1975 delta 88 convertible last year about this time. I got a smoking deal on it. I planned on reselling it in the spring and making some cash but, i fell in love with this car. it has a stock 350 in it but I want more power. So I came up with the crazy idea of swapping the motor for a cummins or a duramax.

Is it possible?
What would be the cost?
Has it ever been done?

Thanks!

Farm Show Magazine

crazyass farmers "repower" anything and everything with whatever.

Olds Diesel into Allis Chalmers WD45 tractor, etc.

Me, it seems like a damn lot of work to put a heavier industrial diesel into a CAR. Much easier would be a 455. Easier yet would be a 403.

Many folks however prefer the strange to the easy.
