Rot Roh!

It seems as though I didn't dig my screwdriver into enough locations before I picked up this '74 98. It was sitting on blocks waiting for the wrecker to bring it over to my place so I figured I'd pop in and take a peek.

I knew the trunk floor is screwed and I have to replace most of it, so that will give me extra access to this spot. The rest of the car is in real good shape, the leaking rear window just rotted out this spot (I think).

The area where the spring support is, looks strong.

Is this repairable without getting to crazy in the price tag department, or do some lucky 98 owners get a parts car to mooch off of?

What say you?

The passenger side doesn't look as bad.

I think it is going to become a parts car. That is stage 4 rust.

I didn't know rust had stages.

Frame is shot. You will have to find another frame and do a swap or make this a parts car for another 74 98
