Hey guys, I am trying to find the relay for the factory power windows on my 56 98.. I have traced the wire that goes from the battery terminal but it seems to be going down towards the driver's side kick panel.. That panel seems to be held on tightly by the door molding and another metal tab on the floor.. can someone confirm that is the location of the relay, and if so how I can remove the kick panel without damaging anything? Thanks guys!

 

Anybody? Would appreciate any help! I don't want to mess it up trying to get it off the wrong way.

 

'57 has that relay behind the drivers kick panel.

 

My 55's are on the firewall. You can usually hear them click when you work the window.

 

Mine is behind drivers kick panel, original is black colored relay similar to a horn relay under the hood.
