Pictures of my 98 1972

As promised (in my 1st post), some pictures of my oldsmobile 98 (1972).
This seemed like the best place to post this thread.

Not the best looking but it runs and drives great, especially now that I have replaced the springs, shocks, control arm bushings (lower and upper)
and the balljoints.

It does stand a little high from the ground but it doesn't bother me at all.

Next would be headers and weathertrips/seals to prevent me from getting hearing issue's

Who else would be eyeing a car with such a big trunk?
It would hold quite a few firearms as well as bodies...

A beautiful car!

It appears to me to be a 1971 model rather than a 1972 model.

Where are you located?

Nice-looking car. As noted in the other thread, that is a hardtop, so I'm guessing those door pillar weatherstrips you were looking at on ebay should work.

Very nice! That is a '71 you got there. A little chrome cleaner will make a big difference with those bumpers.

Thumbs up

Great looking car! I love the front end, especially the headlight bezels.

The height looks good on the full size cars in my opinion.

Guttermouth,

What is that contraption where the A/C compressor is supposed to be? Is that some kind of emission control device for Netherlands?

Hi,

No thats the evaporator to make the car run on butane and propane.
It's called LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) I'm guessing it's called LPG in the states as well?

Regular pump gas prices in the Netherlands are really high, always have been, but even higher the last few years in the 'crisis', so It's to keep this 455 monster affordable
