Hubcap clips

For my 57 98 how many clips per wheel and where might i source them from?

I think 4 or 5 per wheelcover. Fusick Automotive www.fusick.com will have the clips and they do ship internationally.

My ‘40 has three and many of my spare wheels with three were sourced from 50’s cars.

I think you're thinking about the clips that hold the dog dish caps on. These guys are talking about the later '50s and early '60s cars that used rim mounted clips to hold the full wheel covers on.

I bought some replacement clips for my 63 Starfire. I had to let the air out of tires to get them on the lip of the rim....
