Bought to preserve her.. now for sale..

Just listed her in the for sale section. 1984 Olds 98 Regency. 75000 Original Box A miles! Rust free Arizona car... I really wish I could keep her.. I just do not have the room.. and my '65 Cutlass is in need of too much TLC... I know someone on here will be interested and hopefully keep her original and beautiful. Here is a photo...

Didn't you just sell the '65 4-dr? Then bought this? It's the wife isn't it! Go ahead, don't be ashamed.....

Older couple donated the car to a charitable foundation and it ended up at an auction I was at. Listening to this guy chat about what they were gonna do to the car.. 24" tires? Seriously? I could not let that happen.. so I bought it.

As for the 65 4 door... I do miss it.. but I am happy to report that the guy I sold it to keeps me updated on it. He has already detailed out the engine compartment, and installed late model 442 rims. So I am out to save another one.... Now if the 84 was a 2 door......

I would have done the same thing. I can't understand how anyone thinks that an old car looks great with those ridiculous rims on them.

I don't knock anyone's tastes, but I just don't understand the big rims, 20-24" etc. I feel that it's a mixing up between an off-road truck style and car that someone has confused. Ofcourse I feel that the difference between a truck and car is like night and day, a fact that Texans here don't feel. I grew up in New York, just north of the Bronx, where peepz just don't cruise trucks, they're used to work out of, and cars are f/ families and people who don't work out of trucks. Unless it's an old truck that's tricked out, but NOT w/ the big rims.

Did you sell the '84 98? If not, what do you want for it?

Beaut of a car. Being a teen living in a hick town I should understand why people like the big rims. But, alas, I don't. I am NEVER doing something like that to my 98.

Good luck!
