'66 Cotner-Bevington Ambulance
I was at Turner's auto salvage in Fresno CA Friday and saw what's left of this unusual 98.
It's a Corner-Bevington ambulance made from a '66 98. Glass was flat, oversize and custom. Engine had a monster alternator big enough that they needed to clearance the hood frame. And a ton of fuses on the firewall. Plus, aftermarket A/C. Pretty far gone trim on the lower parts, but suspension looked intact.
Anyway here:
'66 98 Ambulance Conversion. Made in Arkansas found its way to CA over the years. Probably retired in the '70's based on it's blue plate
Hope this is fun for you guys too.
