1965 Oldsmobile 98 4 door Holiday Sport Sedan. I have two four door gas tanks but both are dented. No rust. I also have a gas tank off of a 65 Olds 98 two door hardtop that has a bad sending unit, but is not dented or rusted. The original 4 door gas tank is still distorted enough that I cannot pick up the first 5 gallons of gas. I also think the sending unit got bent when the gas tank was dented. The 2 door tank has a different (smaller) sending unit in it versus a four door's gas tank and it does not work.

Anyone know of a gas tank that will interchange? This is a one year car so doubt there is such a thing.

Anyone know who can repair a dented gas tank?

Anyone have a sending unit rebuilt before with success? Or know anyone who may have a sending unit?

I will keep you in mind. Trying to get two tanks going: one for a four door sport sedan frame off resto and the two door hardtop. The third tank is in a 4 door sport sedan parts car, but they lifted the rear with a forklift to put it on a trailer and took out the tank. Thanks. Craig
