putting my motor back in and wondering what a couple wires go tot hat are with the harness that leads out to the alternator,,Now I know the plug goes to the alternator and the wire with the ring goes to the alternator and the plug goes to the the coolant temp sensor,,But where do the other 2 green wires go that have plugs on them?

 

Might be the compressor clutch wires.

 

Nah,,,That wiring harnes is on the other side ,,,I know which ones those are..

 

I beleive i found it..Its the oil pressure switch and the temp sensor and the coolant sensor i think..

 

Sounds about right. You really ought to have the '73 Olds Chassis service manual. You can get them quite inexpensively on ebay (I got one for $10 plus shipping), and they're invaluable for wiring issues. The diagrams show all the wire colors and where, exactly, they go. There's also good diagrams showing how wiring and wiring harnesses are routed under the hood. As I say, invaluable.

 

I actually just got mine Friday,,,And i got it for 10.00 from ebay,,,,thanks for your help..
