1964 Olds 98 vent window
OK I finally decided to tackle another annoying issue.
My drivers vent window. The regulator was trash. In fact they were weak when new. My dad would always say DO NOT SPRING THE VENT WINDOW!! In other words to not over tighten it when closing it.
Well of course I did at some point. He had a 1964 Super 88. So when I got my 98 the drivers side vent would not close without help.
So I thought maybe there are regulators out there. Well there are reproductions for Chevy Impalas and guess what they are the same part. So I got one for $83.00 and replaced mine.
All set now it works like new. All I have to do is not SPRING it!

Other places have them like Classic Industries, so if anyone wants to fix theirs look around,
