Factory option and I think could have been dealer installed.


Cruise was not common until the early 70s except on a Cadillac. But the four lesser GM Divisions offered it early as 1961. I think Ford got into the act around 1964 for the Thunderbird.


If the whole thing is there, and it was known to be working, you're looking at a couple hundred bucks, maybe more, easy. Your best bet is someone with a Starfire.


Keep in mind these old motor-driven Dana units could be cantankerous even when new. The motors can be repaired.

All the parts are there. I think these rare parts should be in the hands of people that would enjoy them. And put them to good use in a proper restoration.
