1960 Oldsmobile 98 Hearse!

hi,

i'm planning to buy this 1960 Oldsmobile 98 hearse to restore it. I've searched the web for infos about this car but it seems to be unique... Belgian carriage-builders tranformed an olds 98 4 doors into a hearse. do you know if parts like the chrome bumpers are still available?
thanks!
Laszlo

You can try searching Station wagon fourms and I know there are a few Hearse sites out there as well. Neat car by the way!!

Wow! That's quite unusual. It sounds like a challenging project, but one well worth undertaking. Good luck and keep us posted!

I saw one of these for sale on Ebay once...it was a couple of years ago. If it's missing any trim parts, you can try the junkyards listed in Hemmings, or spend a lot of time on Ebay. As long as the parts are still there, most of the time they can be restored...

It's hard to believe that a person with this type of fortitude to post these pictures, be interested in such a unique Vehicle, post only once in over a TWO year span of time and disappear of the face of this Planet ????
