My name is Stewart and I have always loved Oldsmobiles. Bought my first in 1982, a 1970 Supreme Conv. that I still own. I have been working on restoring it for my wife for 17 yrs. Seems family and work come first. I have just retired and now hope to finish it soon. That way I can start on my '71 W-30 Conv. It still has the original top and some rust issues. My wife and I have decided to take the 4-speed out of my hard top and put it in her conv. Then use the sheet metal from that car on my W-30. The hard top is not a numbers matching car and has rusty floor pans but the quarters are in better shape than my W-30. I know Joe, who is doing a resto on a '70 W-30 Astro Blue car and just finished reading all the post on his thread. Hope to get all the information I need to do mine. Looking forward to many great stories and meeting new people through this forum.

Welcome Texas!
Welcome! I have been to Texas....Wichita Falls and San Antonio to visit my boy when he was in the U.S. Air Force and myself at Fort Hood. The armadillos will chase you around if you are not careful! Haha
