Another Newbie

Just a short introduction,my name is Rod. I'm from Marshallville Ohio. Six weeks ago I purchased my first Cutlass. Haven't been able to enjoy it too much, I had to put it away for the winter!

My previous classic cars:

54 ford 2dr Ranchwagon

70 Torino GT

48 Ford 2dr sedan street rod

My buds jokingly tell me, I went to the dark side. Rod.

Welcome !!
We need more info on the cutlass year, model , your plans

Oh yea you will be asked a ton for pics of the new addition !!!

Dark side? no way oldsmobile are lots of fun depending on year and make. the most fun is sourcing parts many you have to find good used ones. the people you meet and the stories you will hear are priceless in my book !!

And very best part is unless your going to a olds meet very rarely you will see a line if them at the shows

Again welcome !!!

Welcome to CO. You will enjoy the darkside.
I had a lot of fun with a 70 GT Torino in highschool
for about six months, wrapped the squirrly sob around
a telphone pole, ouch, it hurt.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Here is some more info.

I found the car on craiglist. It was located in Mentor, Ohio 40 minutes from my home. Original owner was a lady in Beechurst N.Y. It came with a 3 ring binder full of oil change, repair, gas receipts, owners manual,Protect-O-Plate, and warranty book. When the lady passed she left it to her daughter and she stored it for 25 yrs. It is an unrestored car, the bumpers have some minor scratches on them, some of the trim have minor oxidation, the engine compartment is clean but some paint has come off the motor. The carpet has been replaced but everything else in the interior is original and like new. The radio, cigarette lighter and back up lights do not work. Ok too much info!!

Now ,I have a question for you Cutlass experts. Would a 350 2bl motor come from the factory with dual exhaust?
