It's my first car and I'm working on it with my father. I plan on converting it to power brakes or disc, whichever works out better. Beyond that, I plan to put a muffler on it, repaint it (same colors, just a new, clean coat), and put in a new radio. I'm keeping the old one because it's classic and the dash is immaculate.

That is a really neat car you are starting with. I love that dash shot. It really shows how cool stuff was in the 60's. The steering wheel looks great without any cracks. Are you going to put the new radio in the glove box?

Redoldsman, we are going to mount the new radio below the original under the dash or build a removable console. Everyone else, thank you for the comments. We also have to do some minor body work. We want to keep the sheet metal and interior as original as possible.
