New Member with a 65 442

I have a 65 442 with power steering, power brakes and a 4 speed. I'm thinking about doing a disc brake conversion and putting in a tighter ratio steering box. Any suggestions on what to use and what to watch out for? A kit for the disc brakes is probably preferred if one works for this year. The front suspension is stock with 12,000 miles on it but it was done 25 years ago. Thanks

Welcome to the site! Please post pictures when you have time.

Several members have used Jeep Cherokee steering boxes. Attached are a couple links to threads you can read

Then for the disc brakes here's a good thread to read through

Welcome aboard and a timely question. I have also been thinking about steering upgrades. Let us know what you decide.
