New , looling for....
I have a 1934 F Series (6 cyl.) trying to find a oil pump, any suggestions where to look or possibly a member might have one for sale? What other years has the same engine?
thanks,
Don, aka.....the hamsman
Looking at the production figures in Setting the Pace, available at wildaboutcars.com (free to join), it appears that the same engine, a 213 cubic-inch six, was used for three model years, 1934 through 1936.
Fusick (www.fusick.com) shows availability of this part in their catalog 550, which covers Oldsmobiles back to the mid-1930s. Engine oil pump, part number 557162 on page 36 of the catalog. $145. There's also a $65 core charge.
