New guy to the forum

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and am really looking forward to the endless pool of knowledge you guys have here! I recently inherited (purchased from my dad at a deal I couldn't pass on) my first Oldsmobile. I'm a GM guy, so I'm staying true. Here's some specs. on my ride:
  • 1968 Cutlass S (442 clone) Convertible
  • Hugger orange w/black fender stripes, black top & black interior
  • Rocket 350, 2bbl.
  • Muncie 4-speed
  • 12-bolt w/ 4:10's
  • Power drums all around
Looking forward to browsing and posting on this forum. I'll get some pictures up when I get the chance. Thanks!

Picture

Here you go guys. I haven't taken any pictures of the interior yet. The car needs some work and I will post up more pictures as I take them. I don't get much time to work on it (let alone get pictures) having two little ones to entertain

Well, to make a short list, new radiator, new hoses, brakes need re-built, none of the gauges work so those will need repaired and turn signals don't work. Those are the major mechanical issues, other than that, I just want to replace a bunch or chrome pieces and do some interior touch-ups/overhauling. I guess I should have been more specific It needs a lot of cosmetic work. Also, I'd love to get rid of the dummy dash lights and put in some cool looking vintage Auto Meter gauges.
