Reputable Engine Shop in AZ

Hi all!

My buddy needs to have his 455 rebuilt but we wanted to get some feedback from the forum on a few good shops in AZ that know what they are doing with an Olds motor. I searched through the forum but couldn't seem to find any existing references in AZ. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Bigblue, Greg Greulich is still in business, works out of his large well equipped shop behind his home in Phoenix, he is doing a set of #5 SBO heads for me right now. Shoot me a PM for his number.

Ask Greg if he remembers that red cutlass he did the engine for in the 80s, ran 11.90s air condition and all, beautiful car, he did a nice job on that engine.

Vortec, I asked Greg if he remembered, he thought awhile and said without a name he was drawing a blank. He built many many engines back in those days, they kinda blurred together over the years. He did take the time to show me what was involved in balancing an engine assembly, pretty cool how that's done, also looked at a V-12 (Jag or Maserati) he's rebuilding for a restoration job. I feel a little guilty using up so much of his time, I could spend the whole day in that shop, so much to look at and learn about..........
