1970 - 1972 455 Olds Intake Wanted

I need a factory cast iron intake for 1970 - 1972 455 Olds. Local junkyards have everything else except what I need. New to Classic Oldsmobile and I hope one of the membership can help me. Located in VA. Thanks, Harold. Prefer call at 540-727-0727.

i will give it time to see if anyone closer to you has one. these are more to ship than the price of the part. if nobody else has one i can send you one for $90 shipped. i am assuming you want one for a 4 bbl?

Welcome to CO! what kind of ride do you have?

70 - 72 Intake

Thanks for the quick reply. What is the casting number on the one you have? This is going in my 70 442 W-30 car that had an Edelbrock Torker on it. This car now has a 72 455 Engine with E Heads and a 4 speed M 21. Twilight Blue with white stripes and light blue interior. Cannot prove it is a real W 30 car but cannot disprove it either. I only have letters from second owner stating it was a W 30 car, but anybody can write letters, you know what I mean. I am very interested if I can get an intake with the right casting number, I do not care about date codes. Thanks, Harold.

what you need then if you want to be correct for 70 w30 is 406115 '70 455 W-30. "Oldsmobile W-455" in raised letters. Aluminum. "Olds W-455" on some.
or cast 404521 I have both but the aluminum one is not 90 $ trust me.
the 21 cast i have has pitts on it so jensonracing77 might have a nicer one.

the one i was thinking of when i posted was from a 72. i do have the correct iron manifold for a 70 442 4 speed car. the 4 speed car had a port for the pcv in the intake. i would want $115 shipped for it. i also have the correct distributor and carburetor for a 70 442 4 speed car.

Dear Jensenracing, I was assuming that I might have to drill a manifold for the PCV port but if you have one it will save me the trouble. I will take it shipped for your price of $115.00. How would like to be paid? Do you have a PayPal account? Harold.

i have pay pal, let me get you a picture first. it is a nice one but i learned to not ship stuff till you see a picture. i have been wrong on understanding something before and don't want to do that on something so heavy. i will go out and take a couple and send you a PM later tonight. could i get your email address? it is easier to send pics that way.

Thanks for doing that. My E-Mail address is gsxta@yahoo.com. I really appreciate you doing that although I can't imagine what would be wrong if it has the PCV provisions drilled in and the casting numbers are right. Be sure you send me your PayPal E-Mail address so I can send you the money. Thanks, Harold.

i just remembered i had pictures of this intake on my computer already. there are no broke bolts or bad threads. the pitting is very minor in the heat riser area but none on the machine surfaces. my pay pal is jensenracing77@yahoo.com it will likely be Monday at the soonest i could get it shipped and USPS parcel post is how it would be coming.

Hi Harold,

I have a cast 4bbl manifold but I think the shipping from Australia might take the edge of the deal ... It weighs a ton !
